TOY CRAZE IGNITES NEW LICENSING PROGRAMS

CLEVELAND, OH---September 17, 1999

CRAZY BONES continues its phenomenal momentum as it signs its first seven licensing partners, all prestigious leaders in their respective fields.  CRAZY BONES, the sensational, sought after collector’s toy that has captured the hearts and minds of America’s kids (and their parents!) will now have heightened visibility as it announces these seven new licensing agreements.

Scott Harris, TOY CRAZE CEO, says, “We are so pleased and gratified that so many established firms and industry leaders have been attracted to the CRAZY BONES product line. After careful consideration of the many expressions of interest and offers, we have decided to begin our licensing program with seven outstanding licensees to help promote the newest craze in collectible toys…CRAZY BONES! We can’t wait to see the results of these exciting licensing agreements.”

Giant, a leading manufacturer of licensed apparel has entered into an agreement with TOY CRAZE, parent company of CRAZY BONES, to develop a full line of CRAZY BONES apparel. “Now Eggy, Speedy, Jaws and other characters that are so popular will be featured on tee-shirts and other great clothing items,” reports Stephanie Kovner-Bryant, newly appointed Director of Licensing and Promotions for Toy Craze.

Basic Fun, an innovative manufacturer of functional key chains, will develop collectible CRAZY BONES key chains…now allowing parents and older CRAZY BONES fans an opportunity to proudly display their fondness for America’s new toy craze.

Further, Warren Industries of Lafayette, Indiana will supplement CRAZY BONES already strong presence in the market with licensed CRAZY BONES puzzles and games. “One of the many things that drives the intense popularity of this product is the fact that consumers can play a number of games with these toys,” Kovner-Bryant said.

Finally, Roseart will produce writing implements along with crafts and activity kits, which will be popular with kids of all ages. Roseart will produce gel pens, pencils and a variety of craft kits including: stamper workshop, mold and paint factory, and a painting kit. Briefly Stated will make children’s boxer shorts and sleepwear. CeDe Candies, makers of Smarties, will produce pressed candies.

TOY CRAZE, Inc. is based in Cleveland, Ohio and was formed in 1998 by a group of toy and marketing experts that are “just kids at heart.”
